Job description & requirement：
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
    • Monitor industry trends and technical advancements and collaborate with suppliers for application into footwear and Acc leather materials
    • Prepare seasonal collections of new leather material from suppliers to support the Material inspiration boards
    • Support leather material development needs in area and ensure seamless transfer of new technologies to in-line
    • Collaborate with factory material innovation teams to maximize material development potential
    • Check production leather quality
    • Evaluate the problems to avoid asking more leather from Spain
    • When needed, ask leathers from Spain due to quality problems
    • Follow up cutting department
    • Check usages (leather consumption per pair)
    • Search new leather options with good price
    • Visiting different raw material trade fairs
 
POSITION/PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
 
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Min. 5 years leather material related experience
    • Understanding of footwear and Acc production technical
    • Good taste on leather material
    • Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin
    • Office and professional computer skills
